In a first in the Philippines, a women's American football match will take place on Sunday as the Philippine Lady Punishers will take on Guam in an international friendly at the ASCOM Football Field in Taguig City.
The Lady Punishers, formerly the Lady Valkyries, will host the Guamanians in this historical moment in Philippine sports.
The Lady Punishers are the female team of the American Football Federation of the Philippines, which also formed their male counterparts, the Punishers.
The match is actually ten months in the making as they were supposed to play each other last January.
