Manny Pacquiao believed that he put up his best effort yet against Chris Algieri and, quoting a line from a James Ingram hit, he said it was impressive.

"I did my best, and I think it was [good] enough," Pacquiao said after knocking down Algieri six times en route to a successful defense of his WBO championship.

Pacquiao also said that the earlier start of his training and an added focus on strength attributed to a revival of sorts of his vintage self.

However, while admitting that he was looking for a knockout after a devastating ninth round knockdown, Pacquiao also admitted on slowing down in the latter rounds.

"He's fast, he's moving. It's hard to get careless and overconfident," he explained.

When asked on his thoughts about a possible megafight with Floyd Mayweather, Pacquiao answered, "I'm ready to fight him next year," drawing the crowd to laughter when he uttered his lines in a commercial in the United States.
