Barako Bull rookie Jake Pascual put up an impressive performance in his team's first win in the PBA Philippine Cup, an 87-71 shutdown of Kia at the Smart Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City.
Pascual scored 16 of his 22 points in the first half of the Energy's wire-to-wire victory over the slumping Sorentos.
L.A. Revilla led Kia with 21 markers.
