San Beda put an end to USC's PCCL streak with an 85-75 win at the Cebu City Coliseum.

The debuting Red Lions, the NCAA champions, squandered a 20-point lead after the Warriors, the CESAFI runners-up, tied the game, 67-all, with 6:33 left in the game.

But they ended the game on a 18-8 run to score their first win under interim coach Adonis Tierra, who took over Boyet Fernandez after the latter joined NLEX in the PBA.

The Warriors, on the other hand, lost for the first time after winning two straight against the FEU Tamaraws and CESAFI Finals tormentors SWU Cobras.
