San Miguel moves on to the semifinals of the PBA Philippine Cup after whipping Blackwater, 91-62, at the Cuneta Astrodome in Pasay City.
The Beermen immediately opened a double-digit lead early in the second quarter and widened it to as high as 31 midway through the fourth quarter of the game they totally dominated.
Ronald Tubid finished with 18 points for San Miguel, which will finish the eliminations at the top of the standings despite tying fellow outright semifinalist Rain Or Shine with identical 9-2 records due to the winner-over-the-other rule.
Eddie Laure led Blackwater, which lost all its 11 games in the Philippine Cup, with ten markers.
