A day before their battle that could shape up the playoff picture, Barako Bull and Purefoods completed a trade that was approved by the PBA Commissioner's Office.

The Hotshots acquired Mick Pennisi from the Energy for Isaac Holstein and Ronnie Matias.

Looking to beef up their frontline further, the Hotshots took Pennisi, who averages seven points and five rebounds per game.

With his range, Coach Tim Cone could also make use of the Fil-Australian as a surprise package in the triangle.

On the other hand, the Energy will now have the services of veteran journeyman Matias and the sophomore Holstein, who could finally spark at the Barako camp.
