NBA veteran Al Thornton is set to showcase his wares in the PBA as he will suit up for NLEX in the upcoming Commissioner's Cup starting late January.
Thornton became the 14th pick of a talent-laden 2007 NBA Draft and joined Kevin Durant, Luis Scola, Jeff Green, and Al Horford in the all-rookie first team.
Thornton averaged 11.9 points, 4.2 rebounds, and 1.2 assists per game in four seasons with the Los Angeles Clippers, the Washington Wizards, and the Golden State Warriors.
Prior to entering the PBA, he last played for the Guayama Warriors in the Baloncesto Superior Nacional in Puerto Rico.
