NBA fans will now have a direct access to buying the league's merchandise as the NBA Store opened its largest non-US branch at Glorietta 3 in Makati City.
Managed by the International Athletic Trading Company Inc. (IATCI), the NBA Store in Makati will offer authentic NBA merchandise and memorabilia.
"Basketball is a way of life in the Philippines,and we are excited to be working with the NBA to open an official NBA store right here in Makati," said Melvin Lim, the president and CEO of IATCI.
"It is fitting that the Philippines should also have the largest NBA Store outside of the U.S. This will present another opportunity for our fans to get closer in the game and proudly display their loyalties to their favorite NBA teams and players," added Scott Levy, NBA Asia's SVP and Managing Director.
Three-time NBA All-Star Rip Hamilton graced the opening event along with various media personalities.
