Rain Or Shine booked the first of two outright PBA Philippine Cup semifinal seats after downing Ginebra, 100-90, in the nightcap of Sunday's doubleheader at the Smart Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City.
The Elastopainters led by as much as 23 points, 80-57, with 4:25 left in the third quarter.
But the Gin Kings slowly came back and cut the lead to as low as eight, 88-80, midway in the fourth.
Rain Or Shine then unleashed a 7-0 run later in the fourth to rebuild the double-digit gap and never looked back.
Beau Belga scored a season-high 21 points to lead the Elastopainters.
L.A. Tenorio, Greg Slaughter, and Japeth Aguilar each had 14 markers for the Gin Kings,
