Despite relinquishing its title, Ceres ended its PFF-Smart Club Championship campaign on a high note as it drubbed Stallion, 5-0, in their third place game at the Rizal Memorial Stadium in Manila City.

Adrian Gallardo sizzled for the Ceres side, which opted to rest some of its stars, as last year's UFL Division 2 top goalscorer scored four goals in the lopsided win.

Gallardo drew first blood for Ceres 30 minutes into the match as he got past the Stallion defense and chipped a high-angle shot to evade Ref Cuaresma that already went inside the goal line before being cleared out.

Gallardo then opened the second half with another goal. He completed the hat trick at the 81st minute and sealed the win with another goal just before the final whistle.

Nate Burkey scored the only other goal for Ceres as he scored just before halftime.
