Global took down Erco, 9-0, in their PFF-Smart Club Championship quarterfinal tie at the Rizal Memorial Stadium in Manila City.
Izo Elhabib led the way for the defending UFL champion as he scored five goals, completing a hat trick in just 18 minutes before scoring the last two in the second half.
Fellow strikers Misagh Bahadoran and Mark Hartmann a goal each, and so did Yu Hoshide and John Kanayama.
Global clinched the third ticket to the knockout semifinals on Thursday and will likely finish on top of Group B with an overwhelming +19 goal difference.
