Ceres coach Ali Go admitted that his club toned down a bit too early late into its 3-2 win against Kaya.

The mentor of the reigning national champions told the press after the match that they could have easily won it if they paid attention late.

"I think the team relaxed already with a 3-0 line," said Go.

Ceres went 3-0 up after 62 minutes, but two goals in a span of five minutes by Jovin Bedic later in the second half turned the quarterfinal tie to a thriller with him almost forcing the draw in the end.

"Bedic is a good player.... at any moment he can produce magical goals," Go described the Kaya stalwart.

Go also said that Bedic's late heroics was a lesson learned by the team entering its match-up against Loyola on Saturday.

"I think it's good for us... that even if you're up 3-0 or 4-0, anything could happen in football," the mentor added.
