Roger Gorayeb will make his return to the UAAP volleyball stage as he will steer the NU Lady Bulldogs in their match against the UST Tigresses at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City.
Gorayeb, who replaced Dong Dela Cruz on Monday, will try to turn the tides on the surprisingly struggling NU side, which only won twice in its first five games.
Game time is at 2:00 PM.
Gorayeb steered Ateneo to two finals appearances in 2012 and 2013.
In the nightcap, UP and Adamson collide at 4:00 PM.
The Lady Falcons, seeking their fourth win, will take on the Lady Maroons, who were close to pulling a huge upset against the Ateneo Lady Eagles on Sunday.
Adamson coach Sherwin Meneses expressed awareness of UP's toughness with his team finally getting action after a long break.
“Maganda ang performance ng UP ngayon, kaya pinaghahandaan namin. Ganoon pa rin ang strategy, we have to be focused. Hindi natin masasabi kung ano ang itatakbo ng team dahil nga sa bakasyon,” he said.
