Richard Howell will make his second appearance as Talk 'n Text's import for the Commissioner's Cup.

Former team captain and now Tropang Texters' team manager Jimmy Alapag made the confirmation to PBA's website, saying that Howell is set to return to the Philippines this weekend.

The former North Carolina State standout averaged 19.5 points, 18.6 rebounds, 1.7 assists, and 1.5 steals a ballgame for Talk 'n Text in last year's Commissioner's Cup, leading the team to a 13-game winning streak at the start of the tournament.

However, the Tropang Texters imploded in the end and lost to the Purefoods Star Hotshots for their second season title and third straight overall en route to accomplishing a grand slam.

In spite of that, Howell walked away with the Best Import award, becoming only the first Talk 'n Text player since Jerald Honeycutt in 2005 to win the said plum. Honeycutt actually won Best Import twice as he also got the same award for the 2002 Commissioner's Cup.
