La Salle cruised to a 25-6, 25-16, 25-11 straight-set win against UE in the nightcap of the UAAP women 's volleyball doubleheader at the FilOil Flying V Arena in San Juan City.
The Lady Spikers began the rout from the start, limiting the Lady Warriors to only six markers the entire first set.
UE got something going in the second, forcing a 4-all tie with La Salle.
But the Lady Spikers regained control from there and scored their sixth straight win to gain some momentum entering their finals rematch with the Ateneo Lady Eagles next week.
Ara Galang and Mika Reyes each scored ten points for La Salle.
