San Beda reestablished its dominance in the NCAA football play after routing Lyceum, 4-0, to sweep the tournament at the Rizal Memorial Stadium in Manila City.
Jay Soberano put the Red Booters up in the 38th minute, while Miguel Caindec duplicated just seconds into the second half.
The Pirates, who made a one-season turnaround into championship contenders, thought they remained in the game after they shot a goal in the 66th minute. The referee, however, nullified the goal.
