PBA Commissioner Chito Salud slapped almost PHP 65 thousand worth of fines to various personalities involved in some heated moments in Game 2 of the PBA Philippine Cup Finals between Alaska and San Miguel on Friday.

Ronald Tubid was fined PHP 10 thousand for a flagrant foul penalty 1 committed on Calvin Abueva and PHP 3 thousand for flopping.

David Semerad and Dondon Hontiveros, on the other hand, had their double foul upgraded by Salud into a flagrant foul penalty 1 for each of them. Both players will pay PHP 5 thousand each.

Abueva and Arwind Santos also got sanctions for their verbal tussle after both players hit each other's head leading to Santos getting a cut.

Santos was charged PHP 1 thousand for the trash talking.

Abueva, however, got a stiffer penalty. Aside from the PHP 1 thousand fine for his harsh words to Santos, Abueva also got a PHP 10 thousand fine as the accidental headbutt that triggered the commotion with Santos was upgraded to a flagrant foul penalty 1. He will also pay PHP 3 thousand for flopping and PHP 1,600 for second motion on Chris Ross.

Vic Manuel also received a sanction worth PHP 5 thousand for a flagrant foul penalty 1 committed on Semerad.

Alaska assistant coach Louie Alas also did not escape sanctions as he was fined PHP 20 thousand for physically contact to a referee.

All of them, however, are cleared to participate in tonight's Game 3 as Salud did not hand out suspensions.

Meanwhile, the commissioner asked the utility personnels of both teams who also got involved in the commotions not to join their respective clubs tonight. He, however, said that it will take some time before he will mete out penalties for the said people.
