Meralco stretches its strong PBA Commissioner's Cup start after beating sister club Talk 'n Text, 91-83, at the Smart Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City.
The Bolts led from wire to wire but only secured their third straight win on a game-ending 10-1 run sparked by a three-pointer from Gary David.
David led Meralco with 17 points on 5-of-8 shooting off the bench. Import Josh Davis only tallied eight points but grabbed 17 rebounds and made three steals and two blocks without a single turnover.
Richard Howell had a game-high 24 points on 11-of-19 field goals for Talk 'n Text, but he only made two of seven free throws.
