QUEZON CITY--NU fashioned out a 25-18, 25-23, 25-23 win against UST to book the second UAAP men's volleyball finals berth at the Smart Araneta Coliseum on Saturday.
The Bulldogs held on after a tough stand by the Growling Tigers in the last two sets to book a titular showdown with the Ateneo Blue Eagles.
Peter Torres scored 13 points off ten attacks and three blocks to lead NU, which will now look to repeat its dominance of Ateneo in last year's finals. Reuben Inaudito and Edwin Tolentino each added 12.
Mark Alfafara had a game-high 17 points, while Romnick Rico tallied 14 for UST.
