MANILA--Daniel Del Rio netted a brace as Green Archers finally nailed its first win of the UFL season with a 3-0 win against Army at the Rizal Memorial Stadium on Sunday night.
The defender sealed the Archers' win with the back-to-back in a seven-minute span late in the second half.
Del Rio took advantage of a costly goalkeeper's error in the 81st minute and scored Green Archers' second goal. He later sealed the win with his second in the 88th minute.
Robert Cañedo scored the match's only other goal in the fifth minute.
With the full three points, Green Archers moved up to provisional fifth place with four points.
Army, on the other hand, remained winless in two outings.
