QUEZON CITY--GlobalPort quickly went back to its winning ways after getting humbled by Meralco with a 99-81 win against a now struggling Barako Bull squad in their PBA Commissioner's Cup clash at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.
The Batang Pier pulled away in the fourth quarter to send the Energy to their second straight loss following a three-game winning streak.
Terrence Romeo sizzled in the first half and finished with 24 points for GlobalPort. Newcomer import Calvin Warner also made impression as he made 23 markers and 20 rebounds.
Sol Alabi had a game-high 37 points for Barako Bull.
