MANILA--Three days after Floyd Mayweather denied that he agreed on a fight against Manny Pacquiao slated on May 3, a report surfaced that the current WBC and WBA welterweight champion signed the agreement.

Mark Malinowski of Ring Observer broke the news on Thursday (Philippine Time) that Mayweather and Pacquiao have finally agreed on the terms of the megabucks fight in Las Vegas, effectively starting the countdown to the said event.

However, Malinowski told the boxing fans to expect Mayweather continually deny the report, although Malinowski also said that he is standing firm to what the unnamed source said.

The source added that the sponsorship deals have been sent out and the pay-per-view price is set at US$100.

He also even claimed that a November rematch clause has been added to the deal.

The source also said that an official announcement would be made by Thursday or Friday.
