MANILA--He's finally going to fight him!

On Saturday, Floyd Mayweather announced on his account at Shots, a photo-sharing app that mainly focuses on selfies, that his fight against Manny Pacquiao will happen on May 3 in Las Vegas.

The caption to the picture of the signed fight contract that the unbeaten WBA and WBC welterweight champion, who has an investment in the said app, took read,"What the world has been waiting for has arrived. Mayweather vs. Pacquiao on May 2 (May 3, Philippine Time), 2015, is a done deal. I promised the fans we would get this done, and we did."

Mayweather vowed, "We will make history on May 2nd (May 3rd). Don't miss it!"

The Shots announcement confirmed an earlier report by Ring Observer.

Later in the day, Pacquiao took to his Instagram account a photo of the fight contract that he signed prior to the signing of Mayweather, denying the latter's claim on American TV station TNT that neither camp signed the deal last week and confirming reports by GMA and British publication The Telegraph.

A report by Dan Rafael of ESPN revealed that both fighters agreed on a 60-40 profit-sharing clause with Mayweather taking the 60 percent.

Also as reported, Showtime and HBO, which broadcast the fights of Mayweather and Pacquiao respectively, settled for a joint pay-per-view deal.
