NU deposed UE, 25-15, 25-19, 25-15, to end a three-game losing streak in their UAAP women's volleyball match at the Smart Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City.
Six-foot-five beanpole Jaja Santiago imposed her height as she converted four blocks and scored 14 points overall for the Lady Bulldogs, who tied the UST Tigresses in third place with identical 5-6 cards. Myla Pablo added 12 points.
Angelica Dacaymat tallied 11 points, while Shaya Adorador and Leuseht Dawis added six markers each for the Lady Warriors, who remained without a win in 11 tries. The loss also officially eliminated them from playoff contention.
