MANILA--The most anticipated boxing match in modern history has been reportedly set up officially.
Gareth Davies of England-based publication The Telegraph said that Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather have agreed to a US$ 250 million (about PHP 11 billion) fight contract that will make their proposed May 3 match official.
Citing a source close to Pacquiao, the report said that he "completed his contractual agreements on Saturday and that Mayweather is set to sign and will announce the contest... in the coming days."
The Telegraph report confirmed a statement made by Pacquiao to GMA News.
