MANILA--The PBA on Friday announced that Ginebra, GlobalPort, and Rain Or Shine will travel to the United Arab Emirates to play a couple of Governors' Cup matches.
Scheduled for May 21 and 22, the Gin Kings, the Batang Pier, and the Elasto Painters will provide basketball feels and thrills for the fans in the emirate of Dubai.
On the first day, Global and Rain Or Shine will collide, while Ginebra will take its turn in facing Rain Or Shine on the following night.
Commissioner Chito Salud gave gratitude to the Elasto Painters' top officials, owners Raymond Yu and Terry Que and governor Mert Mondragon for agreeing to have their squad playing on back-to-back games.
Both Ginebra and Rain Or Shine last graced a PBA out-of-town series in Dubai in 2012 together with Barako Bull.
