NU banked on a huge second half to beat UST, 2-1, in their UAAP men's football clash at the FEU-Diliman Football Field in Quezon City.
Paolo Salenga drilled go-ahead goal for the Bulldogs to strengthen their bid for a Final Four berth.
Gino Clariño put the also-ran Growling Tigers up just three minutes into the match.
Patrick Valenzuela, however, tied the game off a header from a corner kick in the 64th minute.
Salenga then put NU up for good at stoppage time with his game-winner.
