UP Street Dance Crew retains UAAP Street Dance championship

The UP Street Dance Crew successfully defended its UAAP Street Dance title at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City.

The Diliman-based dancers, who performed a Larong Pinoy-themed routine, scored a total of 178 points, enough to take home PHP 120 thousand as the grand prize.

The Company of Ateneo Dancers, on the other hand, took the first runner-up honors after tallying 167.3 points. The CADS received PHP 90 thousand.

The La Salle Dance Company-Street, which won the Skechers Street Dance Battle last December, finished third, trailing CADS by just 0.3 point. LSDC-Street walked away with PHP 70 thousand.

The Adamson CAST took fourth place with 160.3 points, while the FEU Dance Company, which sported a unique Moriones-themed costume, wounded up in fifth with 151.3 points.

To complete the final results, the UST Salinggawi Dance Troupe finished sixth with 143.7 points, the UE Warriors placed seventh with 137 points, and the NU Underdawgz settled for eighth place with 126.5 points.
