PASAY--K.G. Cañaleta went on fire Sunday as he led NLEX to a 94-81 win against GlobalPort in a PBA Commissioner's Cup match at the Cuneta Astrodome.
Cañaleta waxed hot in the second half, where the Road Warriors rebuilt a double-digit lead and pulled away for good against the Batang Pier.
The former slam dunk king fired six triples en route to a game-high 29 points, 22 coming in the pivotal second half, for NLEX, which now won four straight games.
Derrick Caracter had 27 points, while Gabby Espinas made three markers in their respective debuts for GlobalPort.
