BIÑAN--During the UAAP, Kim Dy played limited minutes for La Salle.
On Thursday night in the Philippine SuperLiga, Dy revealed what she can do.
Dy scored a team-high 17 points as Shopinas made a triumphant return to professional sports play with a 25-22, 25-22, 16-25, 25-12 win against Mane 'n Tail at the Alonte Sports Center.
The Lady Clickers, who took over from the Generika Lifesavers and eventually absorbing the latter's core, banked on Dy's heroics as they staved off a sloppy third set to finish off the Lady Stallions through a dominating fourth set performance.
Paneng Mercado added ten markers for Shopinas, which once fielded in a team in the PBA as Red Bull before the Lina Group bought Photokina and eventually renamed the club as Shopinas.
Royse Tubino led Mane 'n Tail, which lost steam after taking Set 3, with 14 points.
