PARAÑAQUE--Geje Eustaquio and Igor Subora will heat up the cage for One Championship's return to the Philippines.

The MMA promotion announced on Tuesday that they will fight separate opponents in the undercard of the Valor of Champions event at the Mall of Asia Arena on April 24.

One Championship Vice President Rich Franklin told the press at the City of Dreams ballroom that Eustaquio, a pride of the fabled Lakay MMA Stable, will take on Thailand’s Anatpong Bunrad in a flyweight bout.

"Geje Eustaquio and Anatpong Bunrad figure in a clash of two of the top flyweights in the division. They are both fast and devastating with their strikes and it will be an interesting contrast of styles as Wushu takes on Muay Thai," Franklin expressed his take on the fight.

On the other hand, he announced that the Ukranian Subora, the former URCC heavyweight champion, will have a chance to bounce back from a bitter loss to Brandon Vera against Chinese Taipei's Paul Cheng, a former Canadian football player who is now trying his luck in the MMA scene.

Franklin continued, "Paul Cheng and Igor Subora are two of the best heavyweights and are determined to show they belong in the top tier in their division.”
