QUEZON CITY--Hapee finally showed its championship form after handing LiverMarin a 50-74 beating in their PBA D-League Foundation Cup clash at the JCSGO Gym on Monday.
The Fresh Fighters, who led for most of the game, pulled away in the second half against the Stags and never looked back to claim their first victory and bounce back from an upset loss to the Jumbo Plastic Giants.
Troy Rosario led Hapee's offensive charge with 20 points, 16 in the first half, while Scottie Thompson scored 11 points, grabbed 11 rebounds, and dished out six assists.
Jovit Dela Cruz top scored for LiverMarin, which fell to its third straight loss, with eight markers.
