MANILA--Kaya banked on a late second half barrage to repulse Socceroo, 5-0, in the lone UFL match on Tuesday night at the Rizal Memorial Stadium.
It took 45 minutes from Alfred Osei's opening goal in the 16th minute before Younousse Yaogo doubled Kaya's lead.
Nineteen more minutes had past before O.J. Porteria nailed Kaya's third goal, but the goal sparked the endgame rally for the club.
Diego Barrera scored off a back pass in the 85th minute, while Aly Borromeo sealed the win with a header off a corner kick with one minute left in the match.
The rout pushed Kaya to the top of the team standings, ahead of Loyola on goal difference.
