PASIG--KeraMix cruised to an 89-71 win against fellow rookie club LiverMarin-San Sebastian in the main event of a three-game PBA D-League Foundation Cup card at the Ynares Sports Arena on Thursday.
The Mixers, who played last Aspirants' Cup as Racal Motors, raced to a double-digit spread at the end of the first quarter, 28-13.
Despite a comeback bid by the Stags in the second quarter, the Mixers regained control in the second half and never looked back.
Jeff Viernes once again shone for KeraMix as he tallied 12 points, while Luis Sinco also made 12.
Jamil Ortuoste led LiverMarin with a game-high 18 markers.
