Kobe Paras' high-flying antics two years ago in the FIBA U-18 3x3 tournament has now gained two million Youtube hits according to the governing basketball body, and to celebrate the milestone, FIBA released its never-before-seen interview with the UCLA commit.
In the interview, which was finally made public Wednesday, Paras said that he "wants to be known as Kobe Paras" despite his name, which his father, fellow ex-national team member Benjie, named after Los Angeles Lakers star Kobe Bryant, and what fans think as the similarities of his dunks to LeBron James.
He also expressed his desire of playing for Gilas like his dad, who is known to be the only PBA player to win both the Rookie of the Year and the MVP in the same season.
