SAN JUAN, MM--Mane 'n Tail finished the job from where it left off in the first set and kept Cignal winless with a 27-25, 25-21, 25-21 victory in the nightcap of the PLDT Home Ultera-PSL All-Filipino Conference doubleheader at the FilOil Flying V Arena on Sunday.
The Lady Stallions fought back from an early Set 1 deficit but needed two deuces before taking the said period.
They then tried to pull away in the second set after taking an 8-1 lead, but the HD Spikers stayed in the set before conceding it.
Despite Cignal's gallant stand, Mane 'n Tail showed its might in the third set and took the match.
Danika Gendrauli and Royse Tubino each scored 11 points for the Lady Slammers. Arriane Argarin provided the nice feeds for both Gendrauli and Tubino as she made 47 excellent sets.
Mane 'n Tail overcame a 21-point performance from Jeanette Panaga.
