PASIG--An NBTC All-Star Game MVP award is a fitting finale to Mike Nieto's stellar high school basketball career.

However, he had to earn the plum against his twin brother Matt and their coach with the Ateneo Blue Eaglets, Joe Silva.

"Nakakapanibago po," "Big" Mike, also the UAAP season MVP, said on his experience of facing Matt and Coach Joe.

The 6-1 forward put up an impressive showing and towed the Red Team to the win against the White Team that featured his both his twin brother and coach.

However, Mike admitted that he felt some awkwardness when both the twins found themselves guarding each other.

"Nagulat po ako na [si Matt] ang bantay ko. Gusto ko nga pong paiskorin," Mike continued.

He also revealed that he wanted to be in Silva's team.

"Noong nalaman ko na na-invite po ako dito sa NBTC, sinabi ko kay Coach Joe na sana magkakampi tayo," Mike admitted.

But after finding out that they will be on different teams in the All-Star game, Mike joked to Coach Joe.

"Sabi ko, 'Ganyan ka naman. Mas gusto mo si Matt,'" Mike jokingly said.

Asked on whether he wants to play against them again in the future, Mike answered, "Ayoko na pong maulit na magkalaban po kami. Gusto ko lagi kaming magkakampi."
