PASIG--Rookie squads LiverMarin and KeraMix will get a baptism of fire right on opening day as the PBA D-League Foundation Cup gets underway at the Ynares Sports Arena on Thursday.
LiverMarin, which will feature the core of the San Sebastian Golden Stags, will take on fellow collegiate squad AMA at 1 p.m. before KeraMix, which will be called the Mixers, battle MP Hotel, which made a tie-up with Letran, at 3 p.m.
Six other clubs complete the list of participants in the second conference of the D-League season.
Recently-crowned Aspirants' Cup champion Hapee, runner-up Cagayan, and Cebuana Lhuillier, which acquired Moala Tautuaa last week, will headline the other teams along with Tanduay Light, Cafe France, and Jumbo Plastic.
Before action kicks off, a motorcade traversing the entire Ortigas Center will take place at 10 a.m. followed by the opening ceremonies.
