PASAY--Rookie club Philips will make its debut right on opening day as it will face SuperLiga powerhouse Petron at the Mall of Asia Arena on Saturday.
Banking on the core of last year's Mane 'n Tail squad, the Lady Slammers will battle the Lady Blazers, which many tout as the team to beat in the All-Filipino Cup, in the 4:30 p.m. match.
It will also be the initial test to decide if setter Iris Tolenada deserves to be the number one pick of the draft.
In the curtain-raiser at 2:30 p.m., Foton and Cignal will collide.
