MANILA--Through its foundation, Real Madrid, one of international football's most successful clubs, teamed up with Fundacion Santiago for a training clinic next month.
Entitled "Gooooal: The Real Madrid Foundation Clinic", the camp, which will run for two weeks, will help train young football players and football coaches as instructors from Real Madrid's youth teams will come to the Philippines to teach them.
“Here’s a case that proves that doing good is More Fun in the Philippines. Indeed a unique opportunity to be of help to those who have less in life while enjoying the practice of your favourite sport, mentored by internationally acclaimed coaches,” said Chaco Molina, Fundacion Santiago's executive director.
Inspired by a Fundacion Santiago event in Nasugbu, the Gooooal! training camp will take place at the Rizal Memorial Stadium in Manila on April 20 to 24 and at the SJR Football Field in San Carlos on April 27 to May 1.
A coaching clinic will happen the day before the start of the kiddie camp in Manila and the day after the kiddie camp in San Carlos.
