MANILA--Adam Reekie made an explanation about his resignation as the coach of Kaya on Tuesday.
In his official statement, which was posted in Kaya's website hours after the club broke out the news, Reekie revealed that "irreconcilable differences" with the club led to his departure.
"It was not an easy decision to make, but it is in the best interests of the club, the team, and myself. This is the right decision for me, and I hope everyone will respect my decision fully," he said.
Still, Reekie found his brief stint at Kaya "an amazing experience that brought fresh challenges and learning experiences."
His decision to leave Kaya came at a point where the club is on top of the UFL league table.
