MANILA--The Sons of Mighty Kaya, more popularly known as the Ultras Kaya, is Philippine professional sports' best booster group right now, and former Kaya coach Adam Reekie can attest to that.
"[The Ultras Kaya] are undeniably the country’s most passionate fans, and seeing them cheering [Kaya] on at every game was an awe-inspiring spectacle," said Reekie on Kaya's website on Tuesday.
Reekie even called on fellow football fans to consider the Ultras as models for showing passion for their favorite clubs.
He said, "Football fans should emulate Ultras Kaya because they ride the highs and lows with the club, and it is a demonstration of genuine passion and loyalty."
The SOMK group was formed in 2011 and has been present in every Kaya match in all competitions.
