ANTIPOLO--Al Thornton showed his offensive firepower as NLEX fought back from a late deficit to take down Ginebra, 96-90, in the nightcap of the PBA Commissioner's Cup games at the Ynares Center on Wednesday.
The Road Warriors trailed the Gin Kings, 68-76, in the fourth quarter but closed the match with a 28-14 run, 15 coming from Thornton.
The former NBA veteran finished with 50 points, 48 in the last three quarters.
NLEX and Ginebra found themselves in a four-way tie for fifth place with Barako Bull and GlobalPort at 4-4.
