BANGKOK--The Philippine U-23 Azkals got a bad beat against North Korea to begin their AFC U-23 Championship qualifier campaign at the Rajamangala Stadium on Friday.
Ri Hyong-Jin opened the scoring for the North Koreans in the 17th minute.
So Kyong-Jin then converted a penalty just before halftime to make it 2-0.
Jang Ok-Chol turned the match to a rout in the 62nd minute before Pak Hyon-Il completed the shutout with an 80th minute goal.
