SINGAPORE--The Gilas Pilipinas Cadets began their 2015 SEABA Championship campaign with a 92-36 bludgeoning of Indonesia on Monday night at the OCBC Arena.
Despite conceding the game's first field goal to the Indonesians, the Gilas Cadets blew their opponents out from the 7:55 mark of the first quarter to impose their dominance in South East Asian basketball play.
Ray-Ray Parks scored 15 points, six rebounds, an assist, and a steal off the bench, while starter Almond Vosotros added 13 points, three rebounds, and an assist for Gilas Cadets, who converted on 53.1% of their field goal attempts.
Respati Pamungkas led Indonesia, which only made 27.5% of its shots and committed 26 errors, with 12 points and two rebounds.
