Gilas Cadets win third straight SEABA game after 62-point pouncing of Malaysia

SINGAPORE--The Gilas Cadets won for the third straight time in the SEABA Championship after another blowout win on Wednesday night against Malaysia, 104-42, at the OCBC Arena.

The Filipinos pulled away for good in the second quarter, outscoring the Malaysians, 34-15.

The Gilas Cadets even put up a stifling defense in the second half, limiting their opponents to only 13 points, less than what the Malaysians scored in each of the first two frames.

Kiefer Ravena led the Philippine team with 15 points on 5-of-9 shooting along with three rebounds and a steal. Mac Belo and Russel Escoto each tallied 14 markers off the bench.

Koh Way Tek made 11 points, five rebounds, two assists, and a block for Malaysia.
