QUEZON CITY--On the night of Earth Day, hell broke loose.

With 9:47 left in Game 4 of the PBA Commissioner's Cup Finals between Talk 'n Text and Rain Or Shine on Wednesday night, three players got involved in a commotion.

The incident started when Texter Matt Rosser and Elasto Painter Jireh Ibañes battled for position in a rebounding play.

Both players then got entangled further, leading to Rosser apparently pushing Ibañes to the audience seats. Ibañes pulled off Rosser's jersey.

Ibañes' teammate J.R. Quiñahan worsened the situation when he threw the ball to Rosser's head, forcing import Ivan Johnson to confront the burly big man. Quiñahan appeared to have a fighting pose against Johnson.

The referees gave Rosser and Ibañes double technical fouls and Quiñahan a flagrant foul penalty 2 and were consequently ejected from the game.

PBA Commissioner Chito Salud is expected to summon the said players to the league's office on Thursday before meting sanctions.
