JRU continues hot FilOil start with win against debuting CSB

SAN JUAN, MM--JRU cruised to its second straight wins in three days after downing fellow NCAA side CSB, 72-66, in their FilOil Flying V Preseason Premier Cup match at the FilOil Flying V Arena on Monday.

The Heavy Bombers, fresh from a 57-55 upset against the FEU Tamaraws, outscored the Blazers, 20-13, in the fourth quarter to notch the victory.

Tey Teodoro exploded for JRU after making 20 points on top of two assists, a rebound, and a steal. Abdel Poutouochi added ten markers, six boards, an assist, and a block.

J.R. Ongteco tallied 12 points, two rebounds, one assist, two steals, and a block for CSB, which made its FilOil season debut.
