SAN JUAN, MM--Jumbo Plastic leaned on a late rally to stop KeraMix, 78-72, in their PBA D-League Foundation Cup clash on Monday at the FilOil Flying V Arena.
Trailing by six with 3:25 left, the Giants finished the game on a 15-3 run to beat the Mixers and continue their winning ways after an upset against the Hapee Fresh Fighters two weeks ago.
Alex Almario responded to an extended playing time by scoring a team-high 17 points and five steals for Jumbo Plastic.
Michael DiGregorio led KeraMix with 21 points on 7-of-11 shooting from the beyond the arc.
