PASAY--All of a sudden, Foton is on a losing streak.
After making an impression in their first four games, the Lady Tornadoes fell to their second straight defeat as the Mane 'n Tail Lady Stallions walked away with a 25-22, 28-26, 25-19 win in their PLDT Home Ultera-Philippine Super Liga All-Filipino Conference clash at the Cuneta Astrodome on Monday.
After losing three straight matches, Mane 'n Tail got back on the right track as Royse Tubino exploded for 23 points for the club.
Despite keeping in step in the latter parts of the second and the third sets, Foton, playing for the first time since Dzi Gervacio's ACL injury, could not find a way to steal the win.
Danika Genrauli added 11 points, while Sam Dawson tallied ten for the Lady Stallions, who broke out of a tie at the bottom with the Cignal HD Spikers and moved to provisional fifth place after winning just their second game in six outings.
Pam Lastimosa scored 14 markers, while Nicole Tiamzon added ten for the Lady Tornadoes, who dropped to third place with a 3-3 record.
